Udpate- Making real money now! smorty, google, entrecard

OK, so to keep everyone updated on my quests out on the internet to make money. Smorty is by far my favorite site for sponsored post offers. In a little more than a week now, I have made over 80 dollars now. They pay out every week, straight to your paypal account. Now, how much you are offered for your posts depends on a smorty score. This is somehow calculated by looking at the ratio of your sponsored posts vs. regular posts, and your page rank.



I was worried that I was losing out on page rank, because I wasn't sure if I was having many visitors to my site. I signed up here to monitor the size of my traffic and how many visitors I was getting. When I first signed up for these reports, I had 5 visitors or so a day. I knew something had to be done to increase my traffic.

I was reading some posts at John Chow's blog and saw something called enrecard. I decided to sign up, not knowing what it is, because that's really the only way to learn what something really is. It seems confusing unless you try it yourself, but basically you create a card with your site or blog name and a tag line. Then you go around dropping your card on different people's site, so that they learn about your site and to give them a visit. Once you drop your card on their site, it shows up in their inbox on their dashboard on this site. They then click on your card, so you get a visit. Every time you drop a card, or someone drops a card for you, you get a credit. You can then use these credits to buy a day advertising spot on someone's page, where your card will show all day. People also may choose to buy space on your site, and you earn credits for that as well. Although you don't earn direct money from this, it does increase your page rank, which allows for other sites to offer you more and you may increase your adsense earnings as well.
